The spa area features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, a steam room, a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna. The only downside is that the spa area is rather small for the number of guests the hotel can accomodate. We were lucky that the hotel was not fully booked when we were there. But even then we had sometimes trouble to find free loungers.
It’s a great way of modernizing a piece that can feel sort of stuffy and old-fashioned. He made numerous trips to the Southampton Public Library to source books that had spines that worked with his color scheme! On the right is a really chic secretary desk that actually you may recognize from the Sex and the City movie – it’s the desk that Big buys for Carrie, which has a TV in it . This chic pool surround was designed by Kim Radovich Interiors for Lloyd Flanders. Outside, the property offers 2 acres of lush grounds, with ample bluestone terraces, a gunite pool, overflowing hot tub, and a North-South Tennis Court. I can watch you play tennis while I’m floating in the pool.

I love the nightstands themselves and the lamps are also so chic. Kate also designed the en-suite bathroom, a detail of which you can see on the right. The home features not one but two master suites, one on each floor.
Clean & tidy rooms however electric kettle is missing and no tea or coffee inside the room. I will recommend to stay here to have taste of German Hospitality. We’re sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Parkhotel Altmuehltal as you experience everything Gunzenhausen has to offer. Vintage shutters from Marseille with climbing bouganvillea served as a beautiful backdrop.

I am amazed at the coffee with a built in ice bucket. Imagine lounging on this large stone patio with several seating areas anchored with beautiful outdoor rugs. The 2018 Hampton Designer Showhouse is a newly constructed 8,200 square foot home built by Barsalin Building and Designand is located in Bridgehampton, New York. This year, the funds raised from the showhouse will benefitStony Brook Southampton Hospital.
The home is situated on 2 acres with a gunite pool and tennis on the exterior. Interior designer, Kate Singer creates spaces with unparalleled elegance. This intimate bedroom is the perfect blend of vintage pieces, plush textures, and cozy neutral colors, making it the perfect escape.

The bathrooms are quite good with the exception of a poorly designed shower that makes half the bathroom wet while showering. When you get out of the shower you will be in a small pool of water. The pool area is quite nice however I did not get the chance to swim. I always love when designers include a cozy reading space in a bedroom . Also loved the sweet side table with its delicate curved legs.

Clearly, Kim knows that a home in the Hamptons isn’t complete without a charming outdoor space. This dining room reflects the luxurious style of it’s Connecticut based designer, Lisa Friedman. The space is wrapped in beauty and elegance thanks to both Phillip Jeffries wall covering and Stark Carpet. The oasis they created is a combination of sleek design, high-end fabrics, and careful attention to detail.
Showhouses,TheHampton Designer Showhousepresented by Traditional Home each year continues to showcase fresh, beach-inspired decor that combines everyday luxury with color and comfort. Though it was hard to pick a favorite design element, that window-mirror between the shutters was impressive. What a creative idea to bring more depth to the space. This space was designed by the mother, daughter team,The Rinfret Group.

Over 20 top interior designers participated in this year’s showhouse. The 2018 Hampton Designer Showhouse is open through Labor Day and proceeds benefit Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.

Today, we are going to focus on the outdoor spaces of the Hampton Designer Showhouse. The Parkhotel is a rather new building with spacious, friendly rooms in the Franconian lake district. We had a cosy suite of rooms consisting of a large living room, a bedroom and a large, elegant bathroom. The food in the restaurant "Chicoree" was fabulous regardless of whether we ate à la carte or the proposed menue.
Black and white striped cushions mixed with vibrant pillows gave a glamorous old Hollywood feel to the space. Courtney Interiors & Designalso partnered withLloyd Flanders. Also designed by The Rinfret Groupfor Lloyd Flanders, the patio was another alluring space where they continued to wow us with their choice of fabrics. HAMPTONS DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE 2018
If you find yourself out that way this summer I hope you’ll visit – the designers did an amazing job this year and I had a blast photographing it. If you can’t make it I hope you enjoyed this peek and don’t forget to check out Part One if you missed it. The home features beautiful materials throughout such as gray rift oak cabinetry in the kitchen and the most up-to-date electronic plumbing systems from Kohler in the Master Baths. The Showhouse designers have used this extraordinary canvas to exhibit the latest interior design trends from modern to nautical. Shelley, I really enjoyed these outdoor spaces, they are beautiful. The Hampton Designer Showhouse, now in its eighteenth year, features over 20 top interior designers from the Hamptons, New York City and nationwide.
Altmuehlsee is according to me the most beautiful lake in the area. I visited it in winter so I can't say what is a service quality. But it seems to have everything one can need to relax on the beach or enjoy water sports. There is a bicycle path around the whole lake and marked hiking trail. Although the lake is intensively commercially used you can find there a beautiful nature and even a natural reservation.
